HELP (RADIO CLUB VENEZOLANO LA GUAIRA)

The earthquake that struck Venezuela on the night of June 24–25 made headlines worldwide, claiming over 5,398 lives and leaving nearly 18,000 people homeless.
The coastal city of La Guaira was hit particularly hard; the Radio Club Venezolano, located there, was completely leveled.
Its president, Victor Toro (YV5KQH), informed us that a member of their board, Dameil Ugueto (YV5ZZT), also lost his life in the quake (RIP).
Following a board meeting and in collaboration with the president, DXPT has decided to launch a fundraising campaign—involving competitors, readers, clubs, and individuals—to help our fellow hams at the Radio Club Venezolano rebuild.
